Discover Puerto Escondido

Puerto Escondido is a wonderful vacation destination with a climate that is almost perfect. Rainfall generally occurs in the summer months only, and temperatures average 28°C (82°F). That means the weather is likely to be ideal for your winter vacation, no rain and warm blue sky days!

With pristine sandy beaches, an authentic, unspoiled Mexican town, year-round warm ocean water, and a wealth of other recreational activities, life couldn’t get much better.

For years, Puerto Escondido was virtually unknown, visited only by Mexican tourists and surfers, who knew it as one of the world’s premiere surf locations. Today, it has come to be more widely recognized internationally by those looking for the perfect location for a beach holiday.

Far more than just another resort town, Puerto Escondido, Mexico has many great markets and festivals and is filled with friendly people. No matter what your interests, Puerto Escondido is the perfect place to begin your adventure in authentic Mexico. Whether you are seeking ecological explorations of nearby estuaries and jungles, the simple beauty of local mountain villages, or physical and spiritual renewal in the form of yoga or dance classes, massage and bodywork, Puerto Escondido has it all.
